One of the most adventurous and marvelous scenic trek in Karakoram, offers a breathtaking view of the highest mountains and longest glaciers outside the polar region. Concordia  and Gondogoro La Trek is considered to be one of the toughest and most rewarding treks in the world. The beautiful trek presents an experience of a lifetime to reach Baltoro Glacier and Concordia. It also presents mesmerizing views of the beautiful mountains in the region like Mashabrum,K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrums, Trango Towers,Uli Biaho, Muztagh Tower, Chogolisa, Urdukas peaks, Baltoro Kangri and many others en route Gongodoro La Pass down to Hushe Valley.

The Concordia and Gondogoro La Trek management and ground consists of skilled and experienced professionals from the region of Baltistan. In terms of logistics for the trek or other trekking facilities they are the best out there in catering and providing assistance to the members and they have been working with METT for many years. The ground staffs are hard working and believes in the satisfaction and facilitation of our members, which contributes to the overall success of  many trekking groups. La in Balti means mountain pass, ridge or a low point between two mountains, allowing access through a relatively lower point. Gondogoro La connects Baltoro region with Hushe Valley, home to the exquisite Laila Peak (6,096m) and some small villages like Hushe and Kanday. However, the pass is very steep and crossing it requires the use of fixed ropes to ascend and descend. So in a way, this is beyond conventional trekking. At the beginning of every season, a rescue team from Hushe village takes up the task of fixing these ropes, maintaining them through the trekking season and removing them at the end of the season in late August. They establish their presence on each side of the pass — Ali Camp on the Baltoro side and Khuspang on the Hushe side — and charge a nominal fee from trekkers crossing the pass for their services, which is a fair deal. To cross this pass at any other time of the year, teams would require services of High Altitude Porters (HAPs) who would fix these lines allowing them to make the crossing. Gondogoro la trek gives one of the greatest and loveliest mountain panoramas on earth. There are four peaks above 8000 meters are nestled beside hundreds of peaks of varying altitude and beauty. Let's come and join us for this amazing trek in the Karakoram. We are local and belongs from this region so we know each and everything and our guide and cooks makes you happy by providing quality services and they care in any stage. Mashabrum Expeditions welcome you for this unforgetable trip.

Mashabrum Expeditions Treks & Tours Team tried to show you the equipment for mountaineering and trekking and if something is missing in our given list then please let us know, we will add those missing things.  "Thanks in advance"
What clothing and equipment to take is normally caused for more consideration than any other aspect of preparing for an adventure travel trip. We regularly receive reams of advice and suggestions, good and bad, as to what equipment is needed for our trips. However, since being suitably equipped is the single most important consideration contributing to your welfare, we have provided the following information which we ask you to examine in a flexible manner, adapting it where you feel necessary to your own outdoor experience or preference. There is a fine balance between taking too much and too little, especially considering that you need to equip yourself for all extremes of climate. Over the years we have seen all extremes, from trekkers who have brought everything but the kitchen sink, to others with the bare minimum. The following equipment list is suggested and necessary for both climbing & trekking in the Karakoram. Use this list as a guideline; some of the equipment can be hired in Skardu as well. Also bear in mind trekking gear can be bought in the many mountaineering shops in Skardu, the majority of gear is Chinese manufactured.
